Remove judgements of a homestead

If you aren’t paying on a debt, then a creditor could sue you to collect it. You can’t be jailed for failing to pay your creditors unless it’s a child support debt. If you are sued and unable to pay, the creditor can get a judgment against you for the money you owe including interest.

You are judgement proof if you do not own anything of great value aside from an exempt property like your homestead, a vehicle, household items, and tools of your trade. Sometimes judgements are wrongfully placed on a home and need to be removed. We can help you with that.

Being judgment proof means that your property and income can’t be seized by creditors. It is exempt by law from the creditor’s claims. If your income and property is exempt, then you have nothing the creditors can take from you.

It is impossible to receive a clear title from a title company with liens. This excludes traditional lenders from offering a loan for the home.

When you purchase a home, it is important to get either title insurance or clear title from a title company. If you’ve purchased a home without a clear title and you need to remove the liens, then we will help you.
